Partnering with Principals Facilitator Academy, Richmond, VA. July 14-15, 2014

Building on the success of the Partnering with Principals Institutes a Partnering with Principals Facilitator Academy was held on July 14-15, 2014 in Richmond, Virginia. Forty-five participants representing the eight State Superintendent’s regions attended the academy. During the academy, seven experienced instructors mentored the participants as they become familiar with the Partnering with Principals’ curriculum used during the three-day principal institutes and also simulate facilitation for various parts of the curriculum. Having trained facilitators from each of the 8 superintendents regions will make it possible for more institutes to be offered regionally across the state, sharing the research and best practices on mathematics teaching and learning
